Review payables generated by tax withholding

Follow a supplier bill and the separate withholding bills created from its configured tax groups.

Before you start

The fiscal team must approve which withholdings apply. In Fiscal > Configuration > Tax Groups, review withholding generation, beneficiary, journal, payable account and due-date configuration for the company.

Step by step

1. Review the source bill

Prepare the supplier bill and inspect the withholding taxes on its lines, calculation bases and net supplier amount. For municipal withholding, review the service municipality and the partner marked as City Hall; the configured group beneficiary is used when no matching municipality partner is found.

2. Inspect the generated withholding bills

After posting the supplier bill, open its withholding invoice counter. The installed module creates and posts applicable withholding bills. Check beneficiary, origin, amount, account and due date on every generated document against the fiscal review.

3. Pay and reconcile separately

Keep the supplier net payable and each withholding payable identifiable in the due list. Follow the approved payment procedure for each beneficiary and reconcile the corresponding bank movements. Retain the source links for accounting export and period review.

Expected result

Supplier and withholding obligations can be reconciled to the same original transaction.

If something goes wrong

The module blocks direct quantity or unit-price edits on linked withholding lines. For corrections, review the original bill and linked documents with accounting. Check all related bills before cancellation or reposting to prevent duplicated obligations.
