Prepare and review Brazilian payroll¶
Review employee, contract and period inputs before calculating payslips in the installed OCA/KMEE payroll. This is a different implementation from Odoo’s native Enterprise payroll.
Before you start¶
The payroll team must review the employee’s identification, employment data, contract, salary structure and current period tables. Use access limited to the responsible staff and keep payroll records and supporting documents within the company’s approved channels.
Step by step¶
1. Check the employee and period inputs¶
Open the employee and active contract. Check dates, salary, working schedule and dependent information where applicable. Review approved absences, vacation periods, variable earnings and deductions before creating the payslip or batch.
2. Calculate and inspect the payslip¶
In Payroll, create the payslip with employee, period, contract and salary structure. Choose Compute Sheet. Review worked days, input lines, earnings, deductions, contribution bases and net amount with the payroll team’s calculation memory.
3. Confirm and inspect the downstream records¶
Correct inputs and recalculate until the review is complete. Choose Confirm through the authorized payroll procedure. Inspect the generated accounting entry where payroll accounting is enabled and the payslip report. Payment and eSocial event processing are separate subsequent steps.
Expected result¶
A reviewed payslip, its report and any corresponding accounting entry, with period inputs documented for follow-up.
If something goes wrong¶
For a missing or unexpected rule, check the structure, effective contract, inputs and table validity for the period. Do not change a shared salary rule to fix one employee without assessing the impact on other payslips. Confirmation alone does not prove payment or acceptance by eSocial.
