Follow remittances, returns and special operations¶
Keep each stage of consignment, demonstration, future delivery, subcontracting or another approved special operation connected to its original document and physical movement.
Before you start¶
Ask the fiscal team to identify the business scenario, participants, ownership of goods and required sequence. Confirm the approved fiscal operations for every stage; selecting a similarly named operation is not enough to establish correct taxation.
Step by step¶
1. Identify the complete cycle¶
Record what leaves or arrives now, who holds the goods, what will be billed and what should return. For triangular operations, distinguish the commercial buyer from the physical recipient. Check the source and return fiscal operations in the operation configuration.
2. Create each document from the reviewed context¶
Use the approved operation with the actual company, partner, products, quantities and destination. Reference the preceding document when the process requires it. Review the resulting CFOP, tax situation, taxes and totals on the document lines before confirmation.
3. Track outstanding quantities and settlement¶
Compare quantities remitted, returned, sold or consumed and the corresponding stock movements. Reconcile the commercial invoice and receivable or payable only at the appropriate stage. Keep unresolved balances visible and retain the related electronic documents together.
Expected result¶
A traceable chain of documents and movements, with the remaining quantity and commercial settlement of each operation identified.
If something goes wrong¶
If a return uses an unexpected operation or tax code, stop before confirmation and review the linkage and fiscal rules. Existing QA cases cover selected rule scenarios; they do not validate every state, regime, product or complete operational cycle for your company.
