Issue boletos and follow CNAB collection files¶
Connect receivable installments to boletos, collection orders and bank return events. Each bank and agreement requires the corresponding configured layout.
Before you start¶
Have a bank-approved collection configuration: bank account, agreement, wallet, numbering, CNAB layout and payment mode. Review payer and beneficiary legal names, tax IDs and addresses. The demo collection flow still requires a full bank-file rehearsal.
Step by step¶
1. Check the boleto¶
On the posted invoice or its installment, check the collection payment mode, due date, amount and Nosso Número. Use Print Boleto when available. Review beneficiary, payer, bank, barcode or digit line, amount and due date before making it available to the customer.
2. Generate and track the remittance¶
Open Collection Orders, choose the bank’s payment mode and add the intended open installments. Review the order total, dates and duplicates. Confirm and generate the remittance with the available order actions. Record the bank submission separately; downloading a file does not send it to the bank.
3. Process the return and exceptions¶
Import the bank’s return through the configured CNAB return action. Review the CNAB Return Log and match each occurrence to its installment. Distinguish registration, rejection, settlement and other events. Check amounts, charges and residual balances before accepting the resulting financial updates.
Expected result¶
Each collection can be followed from installment and boleto through remittance, bank response and settlement.
If something goes wrong¶
For rejected titles, keep the occurrence code and check the bank layout and registration data. For an unknown Nosso Número or duplicate return, investigate the existing order before reimporting. A boleto PDF or remittance generation is not proof of registration or payment.
