How the layers combine
Odoo's power lies in its modular architecture. The Core provides the framework - ORM, web client, security, workflows. On top of it, the 621 Community Edition modules cover any company's basic needs.
The Enterprise layer adds advanced features like Studio (visual customization), Planning, IoT and Marketing Automation. The OCA (Odoo Community Association) contributes over 3,000 high-quality open source modules, maintained by hundreds of developers worldwide.
For the Brazilian market, localization is essential: NF-e, NFS-e, NFC-e, CT-e, SPED, CNAB, boleto, Pix - all automated. KMEE adds its own specialized modules: POS integrations, KDS, self-service, advanced reports and exclusive automations.
At the top are the client modules - built to order for specific business rules, proprietary integrations and custom workflows.
