Do I need a separate app for TEF payments?
No. KMEE Odoo Mobile integrates natively with Destaxa terminals for debit, credit and PIX payments directly through the Odoo POS, with no need for external applications.
Do notifications work with the app closed?
Yes. The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications even when the app is in the background or closed. Discuss messages, tasks and pending approvals arrive in real time.
Does the app work on iOS?
Yes. KMEE Odoo Mobile is built with React Native and runs on Android and iOS. The TEF Destaxa payment integration is exclusive to Android; the other features are available on both platforms.
Do I need to install anything on the Odoo server?
For push notifications, yes - the mobile_push module is installed on Odoo. It is lightweight, requires no additional infrastructure and uses the KMEE Firebase (free of charge). For the other features (WebView, payments, second screen), the app works without additional modules.
